GA_RAPITSI : Khutšo Rabothata has not returned home since Feiday, 12 December 2025, Rabothata family request for public assistance to locate him.

It is alleged that Khutšo was from Mokgoba villahe (Modjadjiskloof to Kgapane) He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black jean and black and white sneakers.

Another Malawian bus driver has been arrested at the Beitbridge Border Post for operating a vehicle with a fraudulent licence disc and for overloading the bus by 32 passengers.

Authorities discovered the violations during routine inspections at the border.

The driver was taken into custody, and the matter is under investigation.

Passengers were assisted as officials enforced road safety and compliance measures.

Parkweg police nab five suspects in Westdene business robbery

Swift action by the Parkweg Tracing and Intervention Unit led to the arrest of five men, aged 25 to 70, following a business robbery in Westdene on Wednesday, 17 December.

According to Sergeant Mahlomola Kareli, four suspects entered a local foreign-owned shop at around 14h00. One armed suspect held the shop owner and two customers at gunpoint while the others stole cash and ci******es. A shot was fired during the robbery, but no one was injured.

Police quickly located the getaway vehicle, a red Toyota Corolla, in the Bloemfontein CBD within an hour.

The suspects were apprehended, and a 9mm firearm with live ammunition was recovered. The vehicle and weapon have been seized for forensic investigation.

The five men now face charges of business robbery and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition, and are expected to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court.

The criminal case against controversial businessman Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala has been officially transferred to the Gauteng High Court, marking a major development in the long-running matter.

A YOUNG LADY HAVE BEEN SCAMMED 30K AFTER TRYING TO BUY A TOYOTA FORTUNER ON FACEBOOK FROM A MAN KNOWN AS MR VAKOMBE SETHOLE.

Source revealed that a young woman who's trending and crying named Portia Masuku (33) have been scammed R30 000 after she tried to buy a car on Facebook, from A dealer man known as Vakombe.

According to the statement, Portia saw the car on Facebook which is a Toyota Fortuner white in colour and started chatting with the sales man who introduced himself as Mr Vakombe Sethole yesterday and sent her the Car Pictures.

Portia Masuku said 🗣 I've been budgeting this money 3 years back am working as A Controller at Shoprite.

I was saving to buy this car for my mother as she's now on wheelchair ♿️ thinking she'll use it when going to collect her medicine from the clinic as my brother have a license.

This man called Vakombe sent me pictures of the car and told me to deposit only 300 for petrol so that he can add petrol and bring the car.

I did give him, but after some hours he called and said he's almost here in the location i gave him but he can't come out because he don't trust me

He said What If I've ganged up to take the car for free, he suggested I should send the whole money as 30k all of it so that he can appear and give me the car fast and go. I did send him the R30 000

And after that his phone went off till now it's already 6 hours full solo ngintjinyile ngilinde imoto said Portia.

Indeed they have scammed her 30k just like that this afternoon, while police opened the case.

INSIDE THE OVERLOADED CROSS-BORDER BUS FOUND WITH 117 PASSENGERS EN ROUTE TO MALAWI

POLOKWANE-MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Mme Violet Mathye, together with Head of Department Stephen Matjena, conducted an on-site inspection of an overloaded cross-border bus detained at the Polokwane weighbridge on Thursday, December 18.

The bus, travelling from Gauteng to Malawi, was stopped on the N1 bypass for breaching load limit regulations, carrying a total of 117 passengers.

MEC Mathye issued a stern warning to Malayisha operators and all cross-border bus operators, stating that any further violations of load-management rules or roadworthiness standards would result in maximum penalties, including hefty fines and possible suspension of operating licenses.
