A little adventure between all the wedding celebrations.

This past weekend we visited the Sterkfontein Caves with my dad and his wife while we were in the area for my brother’s wedding. With the wedding venue so close by, it was the perfect opportunity to take the girls on a little adventure of their own.

I’m not going to lie, it was a little scary at times, but absolutely breathtaking. There’s something so incredible about being deep underground, surrounded by these enormous rock formations and millions of years of history. The girls loved exploring and, despite a few nervous moments, we all came out the other side with plenty of stories to tell.

A beautiful little family adventure tucked into a very special wedding weekend 🤍

We’re back home after an incredibly special weekend spent in Johannesburg for my brother’s wedding 🤍

The girls were flower girls and absolutely relished in the privilege to be part of their uncle Ty and aunty Leah’s wedding. They looked incredibly beautiful and loved walking down the aisle tossing flowers before the beautiful bride walked down to meet my brother 🥰

After many, many years engaged, it was super special to witness them officially unite their lives as one unit 🤍

Maddie also has the honour in saying Grace and she did such an incredible job 🥰

Forgotten birthday gift with less than two hours to spare? Parenting panic: averted.

A few taps on Mr D | Food & Grocery Delivery, a Toy Kingdom gift at in-store prices, and delivered to our door in less than 60 minutes. Still in our PJs, too.

I’m not going to lie, I was pretty proud of myself after this one 🤗🤗🤗

Last week, my Lifestyle Centre Ballito team and I got to spend a very special morning celebrating Women’s Day with the incredibly talented North Coast artist, Hayley Lombard Art.

I loved every minute of this hands-on art class. Not only did Hayley teach us how to create our own pieces, but she shared so much wisdom, encouragement and advice along the way. There’s something so lovely about slowing down, trying something completely different and giving yourself permission to just create. As Hayley puts it - saying YES to each brush stroke 🥰

And the best part? I actually left with a piece of art I LOVE and made with my own two hands, which is now proudly on display in my bedroom 🤩 Definitely one of those mornings I’ll remember for a long time.

Here’s to celebrating talented women, learning from one another and always making space for a little creativity ❤️
