As a faith leader, I remind young people that responsibility to community is also a spiritual responsibility.

Our faith teaches us stewardship: to care for the world we live in, to seek justice, to protect dignity, and to stand for the wellbeing of society. Democracy gives young people a peaceful and powerful way to live out those values.

Registering to vote is not just a political act; it is an act of conscience.
Voting is choosing hope over apathy.
Voting is choosing responsibility over silence.

The future of our nation will be shaped by the decisions made today. Young people must not withdraw from that responsibility. Your voice matters. Your participation matters. Your presence matters.

Register. Participate. Vote.

Because faith without action cannot transform society and the future needs young people who show up.

Passover reminds us that freedom is never accidental, it is born through faith, resilience, and divine promise.

As families and communities gather during this sacred season, may this time renew hope, strengthen unity, and inspire liberation of spirit, purpose, and humanity.

From all of us at the Khathide Foundation, we wish you a blessed and meaningful Passover.

Today, we don’t just commemorate a date, we affirm a truth.

Equality is not a privilege. It is a right.
As we mark Human Rights Day, we are reminded that dignity, freedom, and justice belong to all of us, regardless of who we are, where we come from, or what we believe. In a world still wrestling with inequality, our collective responsibility is clear: to stand, to speak, and to act.

South Africa’s journey teaches us that rights are never simply given, they are fought for, protected, and lived every single day.
Let this day be more than reflection. Let it be a renewal of our commitment to build communities where fairness is not an aspiration, but a reality.

From all of us at the Khathide Training Institute and the Khathide Foundation:

Happy & Blessed Human Rights Day.

Thank You for Your Incredible Support

We are truly overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who has contributed to the Khathide Foundation Kids Fruit Drive. Because of your kindness and generosity, we are able to reach more young lives than we ever imagined.

Important Update:
The number of learners benefiting from this initiative has quadrupled. This is a powerful testament to what we can achieve together as a community.

But we need your help now more than ever.
With this rapid growth, our demand for fresh fruit has increased significantly. We are currently facing a shortage and urgently need more fruit donations to continue supporting these children.

Every apple, banana, or orange you give makes a real difference in a child’s health, energy, and ability to learn.

You can still drop off donations or contact us to make arrangements.

Let’s keep the momentum going. Together, we are not just feeding children—we are nourishing futures.
