Standing in the Shadow of a Legend

📍 Elephant Hall, Letaba Rest Camp – Kruger National Park

Meet Mafunyane — one of the original Magnificent Seven tuskers of Kruger. A true icon of the wild, Mafunyane was known for his massive ivory, solitary nature, and the distinctive hole in his skull that made him truly unforgettable. His tusks, weighing over 55 kg each, now stand tall in tribute at Letaba's Elephant Hall.

It is with incredible pride I share with you that I am part of the Remembering Wildlife 10 years project.

Being part of a project over 10 Years that has been contributing to conservation in specific and transparent ways has been a privilege and also a truly fulfilling experience for me.

My photography is a extension of a part of me that is truly connected with my home and the wilderness of South Africa.
