Gedagte FM Mourns the Loss of Beloved Colleague, Lesego "Lucky" Bokaba
Mpumalanga, South Africa – October 10, 2025 – Gedagte FM is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our cherished colleague, Lesego "Lucky" Bokaba, who left us on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Lucky joined the Gedagte FM family in February 2025, bringing his infectious energy and passion for music to our station. He hosted two beloved shows: _The Weekend End Special_, a golden oldies show every Saturday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and _Sidiba SA Mmino_, a choral show every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Through his shows, Lucky introduced us to a plethora of talented artists and shared the rich musical heritage of South Africa with our listeners. His dedication, warmth, and love for music touched the hearts of many, making him an integral part of the Gedagte FM community. We learnt and met a lot of artists of the day through him. We are sad as a station and pass our condolences to Lucky's family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. His passing leaves a void in our station and the broader music community, but his legacy will live on through the memories we shared and the music he so passionately shared with us.
