Headline: Make Your Text Messages Actually Get Read

​The Problem: Long paragraphs of plain text get skimmed or completely ignored, leading to missed details and follow-up questions.

The Fix: Format your text directly inside WhatsApp using built-in shortcuts to create clear structure, highlight key dates, or list out action items.

​How to do it (Format Cheat Sheet):
​Bold: Place an asterisk on both sides → *Important Notice*
_ Italics: Place an underscore on both sides → _Meeting at 3 PM_
~ Strikethrough: Place a tilde on both sides → ~Old Price~
monospace: Place 3 backticks on both sides → ```Code123```
​Bullet Lists: Type an asterisk * or hyphen - followed by a space before your text.
​Numbered Lists: Type a number, period, and space (1. ) before your text.

Tired of losing important messages in busy chats?
You received an address, a Wi-Fi password, or a meeting link, but three days later it’s buried under 200 new messages.
The Fix: WhatsApp lets you pin up to 3 critical messages to the top of any individual or group chat, creating a quick-access banner for everyone in the thread.
How to do it (in 5 seconds):
1. Long-press the specific message you want to keep handy.
2. Tap More Options (or the three dots / pop-up menu) → select Pin.
3. Choose how long to keep it pinned (24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days).

Do business hours matter?

It’s easier than ever to contact a business. WhatsApp means you can send a message at any time, and it will land in their inbox whether they’re at work, having dinner or fast asleep.

But just because you can message a business outside its stated business hours, does that mean you should? And when you do, what does it communicate about professionalism, boundaries and respect for the business’s operating hours?
