A girl's idea of how a man should treat her often comes from her father, but without a father figure, many feel lost about what love, respect and family should look like.
This left them feeling unworthy in such a way that they ended up seeking love in the wrong places, confusing attention with love, choosing emotionally unavailable partners and staying in toxic/abusive relationships because to them, even breadcrumbs felt like gold.
