📢[GET TO KNOW❗]📣
My name is Imange Nguta, but to the music world, I'm known as M$AIRO. I was born in 2005 and bred in Queenstown McBride village. Growing up in a home of 6, music wasn't really part of my life until I got introduced to it in a way that changed everything. I attended high school at Abambo High School in Mceula village.
To be honest, I wasn't exactly on the right path - I was smoking crystal m**h and getting into all sorts of trouble. But music saved my life. It all started in 2022 when my friend Mhleli Ncontsa taught me how to freestyle and rap during the holidays. I was hooked from the very start.
I remember the first time I laid down a verse - it was like a switch had been flipped. I found my voice, my style, and my passion. Music became my escape, my therapy, and my purpose. I spent hours upon hours perfecting my craft, experimenting with different flows and lyrics.
As I honed my skills, I began to see music as more than just a hobby - it was a career path. I started recording myself using BandLab software, and it wasn't long before I knew music was what I wanted to do. The more I created, the more I realized that this was my calling.
Last year, in 2024, I decided to take my music career seriously. I got myself a PR person, and we started working on my debut EP. It was a dream come true to have someone believe in me and my music enough to invest their time and expertise.
The journey hasn't been easy, but it's been worth it. I've faced challenges and setbacks, but music has always been my constant source of motivation. When I'm in the studio, laying down tracks and perfecting my sound, I feel like I'm exactly where I'm meant to be.
My music is a reflection of my life experiences, my struggles, and my triumphs. I'm not afraid to be raw and honest in my lyrics, and I hope that my authenticity resonates with my listeners. I'm proud of the person I've become and the music I've created.
As I look back on my journey, I'm grateful for the people who've supported me
