"SG Foundation & Visionary Youth Club Unite to Empower Schoolgirls and Uplift Communities"

The Sithembele Gongxeka Foundation (SG Foundation), founded by Sithembele Gongxeka – a certified and professional Fitness Technical Director, Sports and Fitness book writer, and Sports & Enrichment Assistant at Ekuphumleni High School – has proudly partnered with the newly formed Visionary Youth Club, established by a group of Grade 11 girls at the school.

This collaboration champions youth empowerment, community well-being, and support for the elderly. Their first initiative is a Hygiene Drive, collecting sanitary pads and hygiene essentials to ensure schoolgirls never miss class due to lack of menstrual care.

“As Sports and Enrichment Assistant at Ekuphumleni High School, one of my biggest aims is to leave a lasting positive impact on learners and the community,” says Sithembele Gongxeka. “The approach from these incredible young girls to form Visionary Youth Club came at exactly the right time. I am honoured not only to lead SG Foundation, but also to stand with them as an active member of the club. Together, we are keeping girls in school, restoring dignity, and building a stronger future generation.”
