Maxine Bekker lives in a quiet coastal village at the edge of Cape Town where the ocean is always hums, the mountains stand solid and the wind carries whispers of revelations. 

She spends her days wandering—through mountains, dreams, and the hush between things— listening always for Love, and hoping, through her words, that others might hear it too. 

midnight tea is her first collection, a gathering of poems and prayers written for those who feel the world a little more tenderly.
