IS GAMBLING A SIN ?

QUESTION 🙋‍♀️ I’m a bread winner at home and the money I make is no longer enough to fend for me and my family, so I sometimes gamble in order to bridge the income gap, I wanted to know is gambling a sin?

I read somewhere that “everything you experience today is the result of the choices you have made in past.” I wanted to be defensive and be like “I know situations where I didn’t have a choice” but then I realised that even though I may have not chosen some of those experiences, I definitely chose how I responded to them. Then I realised that I wasn’t born a loser but I was definitely born a chooser and the choices I make daily determine my outcome in life.

Nothing is more frustrating than praying and not receiving answers to your prayers and the reason why most people dodge going to prayer meetings it is because they secretly believe that prayer doesn’t work, after all no body leaves what’s working. What has been your experience with prayer?
