ANNOUNCEMENT!
Firstly I would like to thank every person who have supported me over the last 2 years in building my business. You have been part of my schooling without even realizing it. I appreciate everyone's support. I started out at the age of 8 with a little nursery, which soon escalated into an award winning seed business.
I have now sold my business to another homeschooling family as I will be moving on to the next skill I need to learn as a homeschooler and entrepreneur.
Paul Botha and his 9yo daughter Martinique will be continuing the Durandts Heirloom Seeds journey and legacy. I wish you all the best in this new learning curve.

We're shining the light on some amazing South African children already taking a stand to do the right thing for our planet.

First up is Durandt Malan, an 11 year old gardener and entrepreneur. 🍅🌱
Durandt is passionate about preserving heirloom seeds for the future and helping others start up their own organic gardens.

Last year he won the "Afrivriendelik Entrepreneur of Year" award for his business, Durandt's Heirloom Seeds.

He also recently launched a new page, Durandts Heirloom Seeds, where he hosts gardening challenges that facilitate learning and encourages families to spend time together in their garden.

Heirlooms seeds are original seeds that have not been genetically modified and have been organically grown. Durandt has over 800 varieties available!

Great Job, Durandt! We aim to inspire more kids to find and follow their interests.

Durandt is an 11 yo homeschool entrepreneur and has been on such a blessed entrepreneurial journey. He won entrepreneur of the year in 2018 and this year he featured on Winslyn Kyknet.
