Lusaka – Zedspark man lends his girlfriend a Lamborghini Urus to sell eggs in Lilayi!

LUSAKA – Social media is on FIRE after a Lusaka man, known only as Mr. Mwila, lent his girlfriend the keys to his Lamborghini Urus — not for a fancy brunch run, not for a wedding entrance… but so she can sell eggs along the road in Lilayi.

According to friends, Mwila met his girlfriend, Thandi, on ZedSpark dating app last year and has been spoiling her non-stop ever since.

> “He’s been taking her to fancy lodges, spa dates every weekend, brunch at places even we’ve only seen on Instagram,” said a close friend. “Then one day she told him, ‘Babe, I’m tired of being pampered — I need to get my hands dirty and do something productive.’”

Instead of laughing, Mwila took her seriously — and gave her the most dramatic start-up capital Zambia has ever seen: his $300,000 Lamborghini Urus.

> “She told me she wanted to be busy, so I said, here — be busy in style,” Mwila said.

Now Lilayi residents are shocked daily as Thandi’s Urus is spotted parked on the roadside with the boot open, crates of eggs neatly arranged inside.

> “We saw her shouting ‘EGGS! FRESH EGGS!’ from the boot of a Lamborghini, bane. I almost fainted,” said one passerby.

Social media reactions have been HILARIOUS:

> “Ati she’s selling eggs in a car that costs more than the whole neighborhood — this is the soft life we prayed for!” one Facebook user wrote.

“Lusaka slay queens are in tears. Ati if she can sell eggs in a Urus, what excuse do you have for not starting that business?” another commented.

Mwila says he doesn’t mind — as long as she’s happy.

> “If she said she wants to sell vegetables next week, I’ll even remove the seats and turn it into a mobile market. That’s my baby,” he laughed.

Tipper Truck Collides with Toyota Hilux Near ZNS Chisamba

A tipper truck carrying approximately 50 tonnes of quarry material collided with a Toyota Hilux near the Zambia National Service (ZNS) facility in Chisamba on Friday.

No fatalities have been reported so far. Police officers have since arrived at the scene, and an official statement is expected to be released.

The Toyota Hilux, reportedly belonging to a Chinese-owned company, was being driven by a Chinese national at the time of the incident.

Witnesses said the tipper truck driver appeared to be in shock following the crash and was unable to provide details to officers on the ground.

Authorities are yet to disclose the cause of the accident and the extent of the damage to the two vehicles.
