ZEHEST MESSAGE OF PEACE AND CALM TO THE PEOPLE OF ZAMBIA
Fellow Zambians,
As we await the 2026 General Elections results, the Zambian Empowerment Hub for Entrepreneurship and Skills Training Centre - ZEHEST calls upon all citizens to remain PEACEFUL, CALM, AND UNITED.
WE STATE AS FOLLOWS:
1. TRUST THE PROCESS
The Electoral Commission of Zambia 🇿🇲 is equal to the task.Let us give them the space and time to deliver free, fair and credible results.
2. CHOOSE PEACE OVER VIOLENCE
Elections come and go, but ZAMBIA REMAINS. We can only have one winner, and we are all winners when we protect peace. BALLOTS, NOT BULLETS.
3. UPHOLD THE RULE OF LAW AND THE CONSTITUTION
Any concerns must be addressed through legal and constitutional channels. Let us reject rumors, hate speech, and provocation.
4. RESPECT ONE ANOTHER
We are ONE ZAMBIA, ONE NATION. Whether your candidate wins or not, let us respect each other and unite for the betterment of our nation.
5. CALL TO YOUTH
Do not allow yourselves to be used to cause chaos. Protect your communities, protect businesses, and protect the future we are building together.
CONCLUSION
ZAMBIA IS KNOWN FOR PEACE GLOBALLY. WITHOUT PEACE WE CANNOT DEVELOP. LET US MAINTAIN PEACE, PEACE, PEACE.
ZEHEST continues to pray for our nation. May the Lord of Mercy protect Zambia before, during and after the announcement of results 🙏🏾
