*MESSAGE TO UPND POLITICAL SUPPORTERS – 4 YEARS IN POWER*

Fellow UPND supporters,

Today, August 12, 2025, marks exactly four years since our movement made history by ushering in a new era for Zambia through the ballot. On this day in 2021, the people spoke loud and clear — and we answered the call for change under the leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema.

As proud supporters and foot soldiers of the UPND, this milestone belongs to you. Your tireless commitment, your belief in the New Dawn vision, and your courage in the face of challenges helped turn our shared dream into a national reality.

In these four years, we have witnessed the fruits of that sacrifice:
✅ Democratic freedoms restored
✅ Free education for our children
✅ Economic recovery underway
✅ Jobs being created
✅ Respect for the rule of law
✅ Peace and stability maintained

We have come a long way, and while the journey continues, the foundation is solid. Our collective voice, unity, and vigilance remain crucial as we look ahead to greater progress.

Let us continue to stand strong, defend the gains we've made, and push forward together. The struggle was not in vain — and the future is bright.

Happy 4th Anniversary to the UPND Government!
Forward with the People! Forward with the Party!

Yours in Service
*Wamuyima Ngenda*
Nalolo District Vice Chairperson- Administration

Aspiring Candidates in Nalolo Urged to Offer Clear Development Plans Beyond Criticism of Current MP- Charges Moonga Taambo

As the political season heats up in Nalolo, aspiring candidates seeking to unseat the current Member of Parliament, Hon. Imanga Wamunyima, have been urged to engage in genuine self-introspection and present practical, actionable plans for development—rather than simply pointing out the lack of progress.

Mr. Moonga, a concerned resident and local stakeholder, emphasized that it is no longer enough for candidates to ride on the rhetoric of "no development." He challenged them to clearly articulate how their approach would be better and different from that of the current MP.

"Anyone can say there’s no development," Moonga said, "but the people of Nalolo need to hear how you intend to do better. What is your strategy? What are your solutions?"

He specifically cited the poor state of the Kalongola-Kalabo Road as a critical issue requiring immediate attention. He challenged the aspiring leaders to outline how they would address such infrastructure problems—particularly how they would engage Nalolo District Council and leverage local resources for at least a standard gravel road to ensure connectivity—before calling for intervention from national authorities such as the Ministry in charge of road development.

“Show us leadership by first trying to work through local structures. If you can’t coordinate a basic gravel road, how will you handle national-level lobbying?” he questioned.

Mr. Moonga concluded by urging the people of Nalolo to vote wisely and not be swayed by empty promises. “If we want real development, we must elect leaders who offer more than criticism. We need those with vision, practical plans, and the courage to act than what is being Experienced under the current MP.”

As the campaign trail intensifies, all eyes are now on the candidates to step up and show the people of Nalolo what true leadership and commitment to development look Like.

Mr Moonga Conclusively charged that if the current MP would win, it would be a miracle of the highest standard as there's an out cry amongst general populous in Nalolo.
