🎉 Mungwi Boys STEM School Hosts 2025 Dinner Gala

Mungwi Boys Provincial STEM Secondary School held its 2025 dinner gala on December 6 under the theme “Enhancing Unity, Fellowship, and Bidding Farewell to Transferred Members of Staff.”

The evening featured prayers, warm remarks, and a heartfelt speech from Deputy Headteacher Mrs. Ngo’ma Munang’andu Himiti, who emphasized the power of teamwork and unity. She also bid farewell to staff members being transferred and encouraged them to carry their strong work ethic into their new roles.

It was a joyful and refreshing celebration, giving staff and guests a chance to connect and unwind away from their daily academic duties.

📢 Northern Province Hosts Pension Reforms Stakeholder Meeting

On 10 November 2025, key institutions and stakeholders gathered for a Pension Reforms Meeting led by Northern Province Permanent Secretary Mr. Bernard Mpundu. The meeting aimed to enhance engagement and share vital information on the proposed pension reform bills.

Representatives from NAPSA, PSPF, LASF, and the Emoluments Commission participated, reaffirming their central role in shaping Zambia’s pension future.

Mr. Mpundu emphasized the importance of reviewing past social security reforms—celebrating progress while identifying challenges—to ensure that current and future reforms truly improve citizens' livelihoods. He encouraged stakeholders to complete the questionnaires provided, which will help guide decision-making.

The PS also reminded attendees that Cabinet approved the pension reform initiative in January 2025, giving the Steering Committee the mandate to strengthen Zambia’s public sector pension system.

A step forward toward a more transparent, effective, and sustainable pension framework for all Zambians. 🇿🇲

🚰✨ New WASH Facilities Handed Over in Kasama & Mungwi!

Today, Kanyanta Memorial Combined School hosted the official handover of newly constructed Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) infrastructure for Kasama and Mungwi Districts.

Government officials, World Vision Zambia, traditional leaders, and the community celebrated this milestone aimed at improving health, dignity, and school attendance. The new ablution blocks and water systems mark a major step toward achieving SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation for All.
