IZW | VALDEN FINDLAY | Allegations
It is alleged that Valden Findley is facing serious scrutiny over an alleged network involving political figures, foreign nationals, militia activities and the financing of military-related operations.
According to the allegations, Alexander Zingman, described as a Russian national and an alleged arms dealer with links to former President Edgar Lungu, was allegedly involved in organising members of the Tonse Alliance into a militia group. It is further alleged that members of this group were sent to Russia for military training and that military-grade fi****ms were subsequently provided to them.
The allegations further claim that these activities were financially supported by Valden Findley. It is also alleged that planning for the activities began while Edgar Lungu was still alive, with secret meetings allegedly taking place in South Africa involving former Justice Minister Makebi Zulu.
Further allegations suggest that a law firm associated with Makebi Zulu was allegedly used as a channel for some of these activities through his associate, Jonas Zimba, who is alleged to have since gone into hiding.
These claims remain allegations and should be independently investigated and verified by the relevant law-enforcement and judicial authorities before any of the individuals named are considered responsible for criminal conduct.
