follows the project tempo. This is especially useful when working with loops, vocals,
textures, or melodic samples recorded at a different BPM.

✅The basic idea is:Original audio → time stretch → project BPM.

✅After stretching, listen carefully for artifacts. Extreme changes can affect the natural tone or introduce unwanted movement, so choose the most suitable stretching mode and make only the adjustment you need.

✅Do not immediately discard a great sample just because it was created at another tempo.

✅That is often caused by an abrupt edit.When audio is cut at an unsuitable point, the waveform can jump suddenly from one level to another.

✅That sudden jump may create an unwanted click or pop, especially when the sample is loud or isolated.

🔥Open the audio in Edison, zoom in closely, and inspect the start and end points.

✅Whenever possible, make clean edits around a suitable waveform crossing and use a short fade when needed.

Declicking tools can also help repair problematic edits.

The fix is not always more processing. Sometimes the best mix decision is simply a cleaner cut.
