ARE WE SAFE? MY PERSONAL REFLECTION
No matter the circumstances this was not right, in the death of one man, he takes with him a part of those who are still living and that is what we call grief, a wife has lost a husband, a child has lost a father, a niece/nephew has lost an uncle, a nation has lost a son.
I pray those sitting in offices of authority will take interest in following up this case to the core especially that this was a former minister, because one day they too will be former, how we attend to this case will set precedence on every other Zambian life. No Zambian deserves to die in the hands of his own government no matter what. Let the powers that be, take interest in following up on this matter and ensure full closure is given to the family.
Remember, Honourable Mutotwe Kafwaya can be You, can be Me, can be any of us.
My office requires I give spiritual oversight and guidance to the government of the day and that is why I don't even have a voters card. I hope the state takes this as serious as possible, a life is too high a cost to pay no matter who has dies.
