iโm a big critique of Remmy Kangwa for this guy has won me over,I have just followed him.
Wisdom is rare to find. B Flow and Yo Maps Yo ,the young man has spoken facts. If we make a mistake letโs sit down and learn from them. This issue would have been resolved maturely especially from the leadership knowing his your younger brother.
Okay! Yo Maps Yo
Sometimes when issues become public, itโs difficult to simply watch and ignore without sharing an opinion. At the end of the day, we are all potential victims or beneficiaries of how society handles public situations.
I have read statements from different sides regarding the Yo Maps issue, and one thing I observed is that almost everyone is being defensive. ZAM is standing for what they believe is morally correct, while Yo Maps seems to be emphasizing communication and fairness in how he is being judged.
I will be honest, I am not always a fan of certain online reactions or arguments from Yo Maps and his team, but I am interested in understanding his perspective and what he truly stands for. From my observation, Yo Maps is not necessarily refusing the editing of the video because he believes the action was right he seems to feel unfairly judged, especially after seeing similar things celebrated when done by others.
In situations like this, โto whom much is given, much is expected.โ
I only have a few questions:
1. If Yo Maps is considered one of Zambiaโs biggest artists, why do we only remember how influential he is when he makes mistakes?
When he returned from international awards sometime back, the public conversation quickly became about traffic and safety concerns instead of national celebration. Why donโt we also intentionally celebrate and guide our influential creatives while they are still active and contributing positively?
2. If music is also a business, how is the ZAM constitution structured regarding leadership?
Is it healthy for an active musician to hold certain leadership positions while still competing in the same industry? These are conversations worth having openly and fairly. Knowing music business and its dangers having an active artist as president is something that needs to be looked at, itโs like having a coach in football who bets ๐
3. To the leaders, ministers, elders, and church figures who may disagree with some of his actions has anyone personally reached out to advise him privately as an elder before things escalate publicly?
And lastly:
How stubborn is Yo Maps really? Because every influential person listens to someone. Influence does not remove the need for guidance. Telling me he doesnโt listen is out of discussion letโs just learn how to engage each other.
By the way, let me also make this clear: ZAM and Bro B Flow are not the same thing. Elo I repeat bro B FLOW is not ZAM he is just heading the organization.
I respect Bro B Flow deeply. There is absolutely nothing that would change that. He is talented, disciplined, and well-mannered, and it was honestly disappointing seeing him receive disrespect because of this issue from people who should possibly learn from his leadership. And I hope will learn to celebrate and respect people like bro B flow. He is different , he is blessed and really deserves so much respect. Umucinshi to people like him usuma I am a product of his guidance and I will forever respect him.
At the same time, I believe Yo Maps must also start understanding that he is now bigger than he sometimes thinks. Society has elevated him to a certain level, and with that level comes responsibility. People will naturally expect leadership from him, whether he likes it or not.
But society must also learn to celebrate people fairly, not only magnify their mistakes. When footballers and athletes achieve something, we often see systems around them that support, guide, and celebrate them properly. Maybe Yo Maps feels that same recognition is missing in music despite his achievements.
No man is bigger than society, and society too must learn how to protect, guide, and appreciate the people influencing it.
About The video? It needs edit โ๐ผ for the majority consumers.
