The meal and its wine pairing, the service, the ambiance 😩🙌🏽.

Fam the entire dining experience at rang with such elegant resonance, it felt almost orchestral. Every detail just felt like it was intentionally crafted from foodie heaven.

I cannot wait to be back, even if it’s just for that Raspberry Frangipane, Berry Farm, Yuzu creme, Lime gel and Yuzu frozen yoghurt (swipe to slide 2). 🥂👌🏽

Tis a strange mystery, the power of words
Life is in them, and death.
A word can send the crimson colour hurrying to the cheek.
Hurrying with many meanings; or can turn the current cold and deadly to the heart.
Anger and fear are in them; grief and joy are on their sound; yet slight, impalpable:
A word is but a breath of passing air.

Each artist shaped raw, earth‑based and industrial substances into forms that hold history and possibility.
They reminded me that the ground isn’t just something we walk on, it’s a shared resource, a record of what was and the foundation for what’s still to come.

Together, the Groundwork Exhibition pieces got me to look closer at what supports us, what we build on and what stories can rise when new foundations are laid.

The Everard Read gallery’s eye for beauty and resonance came into sharp focus with this exhibit. Each piece felt handpicked not just for what it looks like, but for the way it provokes thought and lingers after you walk away.

This grill house at was the perfect soft landing to dig into the delights of the district.

The duck breast and pea purée didn’t quite ring all the bells, but thankfully the chicken‑and‑mushroom tumbleweed with its spicy aioli stepped in to save the moment and the berry panna cotta carried the whole meal experience home for the win.

Refreshing to fork into a whole new spin on food prep and presentation.

Stepping into The Library Shhh at UNZA Main Campus felt like walking straight into the millennial dream we all quietly curated back in the day. You know that version of adulthood where life would be a little softer, cosier, and far removed from endless lectures and exam pressure 😅.

What stood out most for me was how intentionally the space is designed. The quieter seating nooks provide that calm, tucked-away moment when one needs to focus, the large-screen bar area brings the energy up a notch for anyone wanting to catch the game, while the grub spaces offer a sublime middle ground for casual hangouts and drinks.

Each corner has its own personality, yet the whole place feels warm, youthful and thoughtfully put together, with just enough art to ground the whole space.

The food didn’t miss either; the platter I ordered was freshly prepped, well-seasoned and served quicker than expected.

It’s the kind of consistency and energy that I hope they maintain because they have got something genuinely good going.

ManjArts, the brainchild of Zambian artist Kelvin Chola Mwanza, has breathed new creative life into Lusaka’s Kalingalinga community.

What began as a simple idea has grown into a grassroots arts hub where children and young creators learn to express themselves through art. The space also doubles as a retail outlet, allowing these budding artists to showcase and sell their work alongside art trinkets sourced from across Zambia.

Walking through its aisles, I could see and feel that ManjArts is not about polished perfection, it is about raw potential, community spirit and the belief that creativity can reshape a neighbourhood.

That spirit is exactly what makes ManjArts worth visiting.

Peace and Serenity.

I’ve had such a grand time in this northern paradise 🇿🇲.
