Will I See My Child in Heaven?

His faithful ones [will] be rewarded, when, at His coming, death loses its sting and the grave is robbed of the victory it has claimed. Then will He restore to His servants the children that have been taken from them by death. “Thus saith the Lord; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. Thus saith the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded ... and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border.” Jeremiah 31:15-17

WORLD ADVENTIST CHURCH PRESIDENT WAS IN ROME ITALY ERTON KÖHLER ||

By SUMBULELO D MUSHIBWE JR

A two-day visit to Florence and Rome connected Italy’s Adventist community with a much larger story of education, mission, and global fellowship.

During his September 18–19 visit, General Conference president Erton Köhler joined Inter-European Division president Barna Magyarosi for programs at the Adventist University Institute in Florence and the Piazza Vulture church in Rome.

The weekend also reflected on the history of Adventism in Italy and looked toward the future through conversations about education, youth involvement, missionary projects, and the role of digital spaces in sharing the gospel.

The Rome gathering concluded with worship, missionary initiatives from the Italian Union, and a panel exploring the future of global church ministry.
