It's a common thing for artists to pay producers money in installments when a fixed amount was discussed and an agreement was made. Since it doesn't motivate some producers, they then intend to work on the projects but by bit depending on the mood or how much you paid on that particular installment. When artists complain about their songs not being released in time, they forget the deal wasn't to be paid in installments so now the producers decide to work on their projects in parts and just like the producers wait for their money, the artists should wait for their songs as well. When a complaint is made, artists make the producers look bad and to some artists who planned to work with those producers, they are even afraid to proceed with their plans because of the accusations but if you are an artist and you came across this post, this is what happens and it's still ongoing if you made the same mistakes.
