Religion insists. Grace inspires. Religion says to work. Grace says to rest. Religion says try harder. Grace says trust Him. Religion says more. Grace says it is finished. Religion says you are deficient. Grace says you are enough. Don’t allow yourself to be beaten up by religion. That is the grace walk experience.

I can remember years ago, I had a pastor friend that fell into some really destructive behavior. A lot of people were condemning him and basically trying to destroy him. I can remember as I reached out to him. The Lord spoke to my heart and said,

"Treat him exactly the way you would want to be treated."

In the body of Christ we are notorious for killing off our wounded, let's be the voice of grace into the lives of those that have fallen in battle.

Sometimes we gotta love people through some ugly times in their lives and believe the best about them.

James 2:13

Your "goodness" has nothing to do with God's acceptance of you. Your "badness" does not keep Him from accepting you. He has always loved every single human being who has ever existed and who will ever exist, and He proved it (He "exhibited" it, He "demonstrated" it) in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Rom 5:8).

2. Never talk bad about the food when you are the guest.

3. Don't eat the last piece of something you didn't buy.

4. Protect who is behind you and respect who is beside you.

5. Never make the first offer in a negotiation.

6. Don't take credit for the work you didn't do.

7. Dress well, no matter what the occasion.

8. Speak honestly: say what you think and mean what you say.

9. Ask more than you answer.

10. Leave the profane language for the less educated.

11. Avoid placing your phone on the table when eating with someone.

12. Listen, smile and most of all make eye contact.

13. If you're not invited, don't ask to go.

14. Never be ashamed of where you come from.
