Today South Africa commemorates the events that took place on June 16 in 1976. The born free generation may have gained many freedoms as a result of the sacrifices made by the youth of 1976 and to them our gratitude knows no bounds but one can't help but wonder if Tsietsi Mashinini and his peers could have imagined the current state. So today, we take this time to look at what plagues the youth of democratic South Africa. You've probably heard it before but we're saying it again, the struggle isn't quite over but it has definitely changed shape. Please be reminded that you are not alone. We stand with the youth of South Africa.

This afternoon, we were elated to host a cohort of MultiChoice Talent Factory students at our office in Lusaka. As part of their experiential learning under the factory, they visited our space to learn how post-production is done, and to see where Zambia's renowned show, Mpali, is edited.
