Day 1: Prayer and Fasting: THE COUNSEL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Scripture:
“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” John 14:26 (NIV)
Confession:
Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Today as I fast and pray with my father Major 1, I completely surrender myself to your will and subjection. I fully dedicated myself to you Lord to have your way in me. Take over my tongue and mind as I seek your face. In Jesus' Name.
Morning Prayers:
□Holy Spirit, teach me how to walk in accordance to your will. Enable me not to do things out of empathy, panic or because of my current situation, but let your Spirit be my guide and comfort in Jesus' Name, Amen.
□Teach me how to walk with you Lord, teach me how to take care of my calling, marriage, family, businesses, career and all that you have placed in my care. I cannot do it without you Lord. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
□Holy Spirit, remind me when I have missed my way. I depend on you Lord. Be my light in every path I shall take in this year. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
□Holy Spirit, give me wisdom on how to do things this year. May I walk in pure discipline motivated by you. Be my inspiration and drive in 2023. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
