Sesheke constituency is not for sale.

I strongly advise aspiring candidates in Sesheke, who hope to become Members of Parliament in 2026 and beyond, to adopt a rational approach rather than resorting to abnormal tactics for political mileage on trivial matters. Allow me to enlighten you, dear colleagues, certain projects can be undertaken by Members of Parliament or any civic leader in their capacity, such as those accomplished by Hon. Kangombe in Sesheke constituency.
We have witnessed the establishment of a clinic at the Sesheke Correctional facility, the procurement of drugs for Yeta District Hospital every month, and the support of 50 vulnerable and elderly individuals with 25kg of mealie-meal every month across all 10 wards.
However, the Sesheke MP has been vocal about these initiatives since his inauguration. My question to you colleagues, is: beyond engaging with the central government to explore alternatives for rehabilitating the Sesheke-Kazungula road, what viable solutions can you offer? Rather than indulging in cheap politics.
I remind you that constructing a road is a capital-intensive endeavor that requires substantial resources, not personal funds. No single minister or MP in Zambia, or even in the United States, has ever single-handedly constructed a road. Through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), the Sesheke MP and his team, in collaboration with the council and civic leaders, have successfully implemented feeder roads and drainage projects, which have been nonexistent since independence.
If your 2026 campaign strategies are centered around these initiatives, I advise you to prepare for defeat, as the MP and the council are tirelessly working to complete these projects. Instead, I challenge you to outline your plans and commitments.
1. How many additional vulnerable beneficiaries will you support every month?
2. Which clinics, apart from Sesheke District Yeta Hospital, will receive your a
