David Livingstone was the First European to see the victory falls.

David Livingstone FRGS FRS was a Scottish physician, Congregationalist, pioneer Christian missionary with the London Missionary Society, and an explorer in Africa. Livingstone was married to Mary Moffat Livingstone, from the prominent 18th-century Moffatt missionary family.

The oldest-known community in the Victoria Falls region is the Kwengo, descendents of the San who were the original hunters on the Zambezi-Chobe flood plains and gatherers of reliable plant staples such as the mungongo nuts of the Kalahari sandveld.

MR RAINFORD KALABA HAS BEEN DISCHARGED FROM THE UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL -ADULT.

Mr.Rainford Kalaba has been discharged from the UTH-Adult Hospital where he was admitted after being involved in a road traffic accident two weeks ago.
Today marks exactly 14 days from the time of his admission.

He is going to recuperate at his family home.

We have noted with regret the posting of Mr.Kalabas photo on social media with a male individual.

From the time of admission, we have reminded the public on the need for privacy and confidentiality as prescribed under the UTH-ADULT patients right Charter.

It should therefore, be noted that the publication of this picture breaches the patients right, as this was not done by the hospital's Public Relation's office and the patient did not consent.

The hospital has since instituted investigations into the matter and the public will be updated.
