BREAKING: Former One Direction Star Liam Payne Dies at 31 After Balcony Fall

Former One Direction member Liam Payne has tragically passed away, according to reports from Argentina.

The 31-year-old singer reportedly died outside a hotel in Buenos Aires after falling from the third floor. Local media, citing emergency services, confirmed the incident.

Photos circulating show a body matching Payne's distinctive tattoos, including a scorpion on his waist and a clock on his forearm, on a wooden deck outside the hotel.

Earlier today, Payne shared a light-hearted post on Snapchat, describing the day in Argentina as "lovely." He wrote: "Just enjoying coffee and breakfast, even though it's like 1pm. We sleep in every day until like 12. We're such losers."

Payne gained global fame as part of One Direction, which formed on The X Factor in 2010. The group went on hiatus in 2015, after which Payne pursued a solo career.

He is survived by his son, Bear, whom he shares with former partner and X Factor judge Cheryl.
