Zesco seeks home advantage to progress to the next round of CAF CONFEDERATION as they host Dynamo FC of Zimbabwe. The Ndola giants suffered a 1:0 defeat in the first leg the game which was played in Botswana. Zesco need to win 2:0 or better to advance while Dynamos any kind of draw will see them through to the next round.

Red Arrows after beating Kabwe Warriors to win the ABSA CUP final 2024 they return to the league business where they need just 1 point away from home to claim the double of the season. KABWE Warriors whom they beat 3 days ago stand in their way as they host the ABSA CUP Champions in Kabwe.

FC MUZA after tasting the CAF Confederation Cup last season, they would want to try again this season. They make a long trip to Ndola to face Zesco United who have been struggling this season without a win in their last 6 games. A win in Ndola will give the MAZABUKA based side some huge boost of continental football.
On the hand ZESCO UNITED who now have no Chance of winning the League and ABSA CUP already gone, finishing second is what they hold to their pride. They will make sure they fight for a win.

Defending Champions Power Dynamos have failed to defend the title. Their eyes are now on the second spot if they are to play continental football. They welcome home Forest Rangers who are not a predictable side. The Yellow of Kitwe giants are wary about their former Coach CHIPEPO who travels with the Ndola side.

Struggling Zanaco head southern direction to face their fellow struggling side in Choma. Green Eagles when playing at home are a stubborn side to break. The Bankers need to throw in all they have for maximum points.

Kansanshi Dynamos will welcome their fellow relegation threatened side MUTONDO FC. A for either side will boost them with survival hopes.

Already confirmed relegated Trident will play for Pride in Chililabombwe as they face Konkola Blades who are hard to beat at home from time Coach Chambeshi joined them.

In the twinkling of an eye, the Zambian League has been failing freely like Kwacha against the major currencies. At one point a few years with a stone throw, Zambia was ranked 7th in Africa attracting foreign players to come and be marketed and make few monies like the way Chinese and Indian business men arrived in Zambia and occupied every shop at Kamwala. Today Zambian League is ranked 20 with only 2 CAF slot from 4.

Whatever has gone wrong remains unknown because if it was known someone would have found the solution by now.
In a country where politics have been introduced in football it becomes very difficult to find solutions to major problems because of praising for what is wrong.

Where are football Administrators who made the Zambian League hit 7th in Africa. Zesco United, Nkana were never absentees in any CAF club competition. They didn't just participate like minor parties in General elections but they competed favourably with pride. This encouraged other teams like GBFC,GEFC, Red Arrows, Forest Rangers to participate in club CAF cream.

A solution must be found quickly like the way a man finds a solution of keeping a woman who has threatened divorce.
