I see so-called artist experts dish out wisdom about their album not being on Spotify.
(Only to temporarily sell a CD off their website)
The excuse per usual is Spotify only pays 0.003 cents.
FYI: By not having your music on Spotify you're missing out on 551 million monthly listeners!
And I thought you made music so people could hear it... not for the money? :-)
Isn't the goal of songs to melt faces and set off emotional fireworks in the hearts of fans?
Yes, there can be strategies to sell music off your site and give it to your hardcore fans first.
But I believe your music should be EVERYWHERE.
Focus on great music and fanbase building and the money will come.
IF you want that money to come faster and you've got good songs...
Then take my Spotify Challenge and let's cut the time it takes in half.

Good marketing only makes your bad songs fail faster.
Lastly many times an artist 10x growth isn't in writing new songs...
..it's in promoting existing ones
