It was a Monday.
The sky was grey. The coffee was weak. And the Wi-Fi was... almost okay.
I'm a passionate content creator and marketing wizard (well, part-time wizard, full-time tired human), opened his laptop with fire in his soul. 🔥
Today’s mission?
Make a post about… a chair.
Yes. A chair.
Not a smart chair. Not a massage chair. Just a regular, four-legged, “sit here and think about your life” kind of chair.
But I my self believed in content. I believed in the magic of storytelling.
So I whispered:
“Let’s make this chair famous.”
I took 12 photos of the chair. One from the front. One from the back. One from an angle that nobody asked for.
Then I wrote the caption:
“This isn’t just a chair. It’s where greatness begins. Sit. Think. Conquer.”
I added hashtags:
I uploaded it to Instagram. Then Facebook. Then I thought, “Maybe I should make a TikTok where I sit in the chair slowly... in slow motion.”
I did it.
It got 4 views. One was mine
But I didn’t stop. I made a carousel post titled: “5 Reasons This Chair Will Change Your Life” Reason 1: It has four legs. Reason 2: It’s available. Reason 3: It's there when no one else is. Reason 4: Sometimes you just need to sit. Reason 5: It's the most loyal coworker you’ll ever have.
At the end of the day, no one liked the chair post.
But that’s okay.
Because the next day, I posted a blurry photo of my coffee cup and wrote:
“Mondays, am I right?”
It got 78 likes.
🪑 Moral of the story?
Sometimes the most boring content is the most fun to make. And in marketing, even the flop posts help build your empire. One chair at a time.
