A side view of my home you always see
A wide range of wild thing pass through my eyes but I pretend not to see Brothers turned into savages because of hunger Sisters turned into wh**es because they've got no fender.
The smell of o***m terrorise the streets
At dark corners brothers selling dope,
Sisters whoreing ,claiming its the only money making trick they know, and for better tomorrow they hope,
Every one savaging for money and fame,
My ghetto home is always in flames,what a shame,
They say survival of the fittest but in my ghetto we live for survival Just to find food, you got to pass through some trials My ghetto is one hell of a place
There is no time for one to rest
Its been ghetto from the word go ,
The only place I call home,
Raised by no stop sign,
No religion, saved by my thug life,
Learnt to use my mind as a weapon,
Learn the money making lesson,
Had to survive despite the life tensions
Ghetto love is the best
never have i found myself in a mess
Cause what we go through is the worst
No one can erase the good and bad memories I have passed through
Even when the moon turns blue
Ghetto a school about life to fools,
Survival in the ghetto requires paramount tools,
Tools only owned by a few,
Its only here where guns sing,
Nightmares are bound to better dreams,
Life is made in silence,
Its hard to keep clean,
Can't escape the hue,
So I dance through this mazel of s**t.

Life begins with a "push"!!!! And a hard cry
Then a swam of names follows jacob or bob
Anyone can be a mother
So Any guy is a potential father
With nothing to do we dance to the weather
Success is out of reach, broken feather
Am a bird I don't want to accept this reality
Because I believe God's grace is infinity
Education means nothing in my community
So it is hustle hard Or hug poverty
So the young magically get Old
Thug life its boys to men
No conscience others do the killing wen bored
We pray and our plight end On amen

Barred like an animal it is nobody's fault
How to live right we are not taught
Love after money
Fools for love are many
Marriage for business its a planed wage
Respect the bread winner,mind your language
The working class are in indian shops
The money chaser on bus stops
Those with a vision in schools
Quick money we run to the streets
Hoping for better life so we want it now
Athleticism in us,the rich can only wow
Poor life,but rich in spirit so we don't easily bow
Sometimes we wish it can just be over jesus come now

I Know More About The Streets
More than I know about the Bible
I wasn't raised on love
I was raised on survival
I was raised in a place
Where a Thugs Life becomes your Idol
Where hunger becomes your biggest Rival
I was raised in a place where so many Youngins are so suicidal
I was raised being told that "Good Things Come to those who hustle while they wait for their arrival"

I was raised in a hopeless place
Where people wear fake smiles on a hopeless face

I was raised by these words
"Wait For The End Of The Month"
Maybe You Might Get Those shoes that you want
I've chilled on the street corners where people with low self-esteem get high on a blunt
Being raised at the back taught me to pave my own way to the front

I Was raised in the hood
A place where life is bad to people who are good
Where people are not living like they should
And if they could
Choose a better life they would

I was raised in a broken home
Where dad was hardly home
And Chuck Taylor's hang on the power line of the streets we Roam

I was raised by granny who used to take me to church
She taught me more about the God We Praise
And sometimes she used to hate how I was raised
But she loved what she raised
Even though the road of life is tough
I never stop searching for better ways
I never stop praying for better days
