No child is useless. Nurture their interests.

To the parents whose children didn't perform as well as you'd expected or wanted them to in their exams, take heart. It's not the end of the world. Children are different and they will not all perform as well as you might like due to different factors and situations.
Please, refrain from calling them dull, slow or useless. They are not. Your words mean and affect them (either for good or bad) a lot more than you can imagine. Encourage them instead. Point out the areas they performed well and use that as a basis to show them that they can do well in other subjects as well.
Be their biggest support system. Let your children know they can count on you no matter what. Think of when they were little and would hurt themselves while playing how they'd come to you so you could comfort them. Well, failure is almost as painful as a physical injury. Be their comfort right now. They need encouragement instead of being bashed or compared to their friends who did better.
