IS HOW TO USE, MANAGE AND MAKE MORE MONEY AND LESSONS ON BAD AND GOOD DEBT DELIBERATELY NOT INCLUDED IN TRADITIONAL EDUCATION???

"Traditional Education" somehow Pretends as if financial freedom isn’t necessary yet it’s the very thing most people spend their lives chasing."

I look back and realize something STRANGE… we spend 16+ years in school being trained for a career, jobs and salary, yet nobody ever teaches us how money works.

Not a single subject on managing money.
Not one class on building wealth
Not even a module on how financial freedom can be attained.
Not even a lesson on how to manage, use or escape debt.

It’s almost like financial freedom was never meant to be part of the curriculum and yet, it’s the very thing we all end up chasing for the rest of our lives.

THE PAIN OF WORKING FOR 30+ YEARS WITH NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT😕

Every morning just like you do, he was the first to arrive at the office and the last to leave. His colleagues admired his discipline, his bosses praised his loyalty.

But when retirement finally came… he wasn’t ready. Not financially, not emotionally. He had given his best years to a system that only handed him a clock, a handshake, and a small pension that could barely carry him.

That day, I learned something important: retirement is not the end of life it’s the reward for how you lived it and its not supposed to be due to age but because you have decided to retire from formal or heavy labour.

Here’s the truth:

👉 It isn’t about waiting until your body collapses.
👉 Retirement is about creating choices having the freedom to live life on your own terms.

The People You Walk With Decide How Far You’ll Go.💯

One thing I’ve learnt is this… it’s not always life that delays you, sometimes it’s the people you keep close.

You can be serious about your goals, but if the people ever around you don’t think in terms of change or growth, your chances ofsucceeding are very slim. It’s like walking with people who refuse to walk you’ll get tired before you even cover distance.

My mentor use to advise me to network with people from other careers away from me at all means possible so I can understand life from different perspectives.

When you find people who push, who dream, who think like builders… your journey feels different. They don’t laugh at your ideas, they sharpen them. They don’t compete with you, they celebrate you. And when you feel weak, they remind you why you started.

That’s the power of the right circle. They don’t just walk with you… they help you move faster.

JUMPING INTO THE WATER IS THE BEST WAY TO LEARN HOW TO SWIM NOT WATCHING.

I’ve come to realize something in this life… the journey to your dream life doesn’t start with money, connections, or a perfect plan. It starts with one simple thing you only can do the FIRST step of goingforward evenwhen it seems you can never make it.

Most people never discover what they’re truly capable of because they’re scared to take that first step. They wait for the “perfect idea” or the “perfect timing” and in the end, they do nothing. Let me tell you the truth you don’t need a perfect idea to start, but you must start if you ever want to perfect your ideas.

Think about it. Nobody anywhere ever learned how to swim or any skills by sitting on the sidelines watching others. Even at colleges and universities where memorizing is promoted they still send you to do fiel practice.

This simply tells you that to learn by jumping into the water, struggling, failing, even feeling like you’re drowning and then coming back up stronger than before. That’s how growth works.

I’m speaking to you right now: if you’ve been sitting on a dream, a business idea, or a vision for your life stop waiting. Take the step. Even if it’s small. Because nothing will ever change until you move.

The first step is never easy, but it’s always the beginning of transformation...

WHEN AN OPPORTUNITY COMES, IT’S ALMOST TOO LATE TO PREPARE | HOW I MISSED AN OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFETIME 🤕

About a year ago, I missed what could have been a game-changing business deal.

A Lusaka based organization specialising in women in business reached out they wanted me to speak at their event and possibly work with them on a long-term contract. It was the kind of platform that could have opened doors I had been knocking on for years.

But here’s the truth… I wasn’t close to being ready.

The HR manager said,

That’s where I froze.

I just sat there… thinking of how I lost not just the money, but the positioning, the credibility, the exposure.

That day hurt.
It taught me that in business and public speaking, the people who win aren’t always the most talented they’re the ones most prepared.

You don’t train for a marathon on race day.
You train in the unseen days when no one is clapping.

I didn’t begin as an author. 9 years ago I was lost I didn’t know who I was or where I was headed.
I didn’t just wake up one morning with 6six 👌 books behind me and now publishing the seventh book.
I began as… just me.

A young man with more questions than answers.

I once made K20,000 in one week and by the end of that same week, I was almost broke.

THE LESSON THEY DON'T TEACH YOU AT SCHOOL

It sounds funny now, but at the time, it was painful. The money just vanished. Some food here, unnecessary shopping there, trying to help and please everyone else except myself. I thought I had money i thought i had cracked the code finally … but truth is, I had a weak financial discipline muscle with just a little more cash.

I had the skill to make money but no mindset to manage it well.

That week opened my eyes:

📌 Earning money is not the same as understanding money.

Nobody ever taught us how to budget properly, how to invest wisely, how to multiply what we earn, or even how to say no to things that don’t add value. We learnt geometry in school but no one taught us how to use money as a tool for real life.

These are some lessons I learnt the hard way:

If you don’t tell your money where to go, your feelings will decide for you.

Being broke isn’t just about not having money it’s about how you manage what you have.

💡 Wealth isn’t in how much you make. It’s in how well you grow, protect, and sustain it.

Money literacy is true freedom. It’s knowing how to play the game so that you’re no longer just surviving but building something that lasts.
