WARNING FOR YOUNG MEN

Men in your 20s, it’s time to face the harsh truths. This decade is crucial for laying the foundation for the rest of your life. You have to get real and understand what’s at stake. Here’s some straight-talk advice to help you navigate these formative years.

Don’t Let a Woman’s Love Confuse Your Brain

First off, stop letting a woman’s love mess with your head. At this age, it’s easy to get caught up in the thrill of romance, but you need to be smarter. Love at this stage can be misleading. Women will tell you everything you want to hear, but don’t let it cloud your judgment. The majority of relationships formed in your 20s won’t last into marriage. Focus on your growth and ambitions instead of getting lost in romantic illusions. You think she’s the one? Think again. Most likely, she’s not. Don’t waste your energy and emotions on something that’s statistically bound to fail.

Focus on Building Your Purpose

This is the time to find and build your purpose. Prioritize your goals and ambitions over relationships. Building a strong foundation for your future is far more important than catering to the demands of a relationship that might not last. Your 20s are for setting up a career, understanding your passions, and laying down the groundwork for a successful future. Relationships can wait; your career and purpose cannot. If you sacrifice your ambitions now for a relationship, you’re setting yourself up for regret later.

The Odds Are Against Your Current Relationship Lasting

Understand that there is a high likelihood that the woman you are dating now will not be your lifelong partner. This isn’t to say that relationships aren’t important, but don’t put all your energy into something that statistically won’t last. Focus on personal development and let your relationships complement, not dominate, your life. Don’t be fooled into thinking every girl you date is “the one.” Be realistic and prioritize your future.

Chief Nondo of the Lungu speaking people in Senga Hills District of Northern Province has commended Government for various developmental programs being undertaken in his chiefdom, notably in Agriculture.

In a speech read on his behalf by his spokesperson during the Open Day ceremony for Senga Hill Constituency Parliament office held in Senga on Friday last week, Chief Nondo commended Government for the resilience in the face of climate change, as the food security for people is steadily improving.

He therefore urged his subjects not to sell all their produce but keep some maize to ensure food security at household level.

His royal highness also appreciated Government for opening a police post in Senga Hills noting that the development has helped maintain Law and order in the district unlike it was before.

Meanwhile chief Nondo further appealed to Government to increase the number of fertilizer packs under the Farmer Input Support program FISP in order to eliminate hunger during the country's drought phase.

ZAMBIA APPOINTS RAINFORD KALABA AS UNDER-17 NATIONAL TEAM PHYSICAL

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has announced the appointment of Rainford Kalaba as the new physical trainer for the Zambia Under-17 national team. Kalaba, a respected figure in Zambian football, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this pivotal role.
"We are delighted to have Rainford Kalaba join our technical staff for the Under-17 national team," said FAZ General Secretary Reuben Kamanga. "His proven track record in player development and physical conditioning will be invaluable as we prepare our young talents for upcoming tournaments."
Kalaba, who earned 58 caps for the Zambia senior national team during his playing career, has a robust background in sports science and physical training. His previous roles with various Zambian club sides have seen him improve fitness and injury prevention protocols for numerous players.
In his new capacity, Kalaba will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive training programs to ensure the Zambia Under-17 players achieve peak physical condition. This role will require close collaboration with the team's head coach and medical staff to optimize player performance and minimize injury risks.
"I am honored to take on this position with the Zambia Under-17 national team," said Kalaba. "This is an exciting opportunity to work with the country's brightest young footballing talents and help them reach their full potential. I'm looking forward to getting started and contributing to the team's success."
The Zambia Under-17 national team is currently preparing for the upcoming COSAFA U17 Championship, scheduled to take place later this year. Kalaba's appointment is seen as a crucial step in the team's preparations as they aim to defend their regional title and potentially secure qualification for the FIFA U17 World Cup.
