Matias Phiri, is an independent Gospel Singer, A Performing of a piece in a music notation that the performer has not seen or learned before. And a member of the Zambia Association of Musicians.
He started singing at a tender age, in Ndola at the center of the blind (Kambowa center UCZ) and He Learned how to read music (notation) in Kalulushi.

After gaining more experience and growing musically, in 2006 I became a member of Zambian Music Copyright Protection Society (ZAMCOPS) and released his first album entitled: CHOKA CHOKA, Songs included: Likalamba Ishina Lyenu, Lesa Teti akulekeleshe and many more. 2009 albums: Akavundula, and 2012 Shi nganga Ni Yesu. which has been a blessing and encouragement to many Zambians.
