I did a thing 🥹🎓

I’m so excited to share that I’ve successfully completed a short course in “Key Essentials: Trade Rules, Sustainable Development and the Law” this March 2026!

This journey has opened my mind to how trade, law, and development all connect and how we as young people can be part of creating real change in our communities and beyond.

Step by step, we grow. No matter the challenges, we keep pushing 💪

This is just one of many milestones to come ✨

😭 What happened in Kalumbila is deeply heartbreaking and unacceptable. A woman has lost her life in the most brutal and unjust way at the hands of a mob, without being given the right to a fair hearing or due process. This is not justice. This is a violation of human rights.

Every person has the right to life. Every person deserves to be judged through the proper legal system, not through violence, fear, and mob mentality. No allegation no matter how serious justifies taking a life in such a cruel and inhuman manner.

That woman was not just a “suspect” in someone’s eyes. She was a human being. She was someone’s daughter, a sister, and a mother. Now her children have been robbed of the right to grow up with their mother. That alone is a tragedy we cannot ignore.

We must strongly condemn mob injustice in all its forms. This culture of taking the law into our own hands is dangerous, unlawful, and has no place in a society that claims to uphold justice and human dignity. Justice must be served through proper systems, not through violence and destruction.

Those responsible must be held accountable. Not only for the sake of the victim, but for the sake of protecting the values of human rights and the rule of law in our communities.

This is painful. This is unjust. And this must never be normalized.

We cannot continue to claim to be a society that values life while turning a blind eye to such acts. Enough is enough. Justice must prevail.

Today, I had the privilege of attending the CAMA Monthly Meeting (Lusaka Chapter), hosted at Levy Mwanawasa Medical University. It was truly a refreshing and impactful experience🌸.

We had meaningful conversations around mental health what it is, how to navigate it, the importance of speaking out, and where to seek help. It was a safe space that reminded us that we are not alone and that our voices matter.

Beyond the discussions, we shared beautiful moments together playing games, singing songs, and simply enjoying each other’s presence. These moments of joy and connection are just as important for our well-being.

We were also reminded of who a CAMA member is and the core values we stand for. It was inspiring to reflect on our shared purpose and the responsibility we carry as young women empowered through education.

A powerful highlight was the emphasis on education and its importance, especially for the girl child. Camfed continues to champion the vision of keeping girls in school, and today was a strong reminder that education is not just a privilege it is a tool for transformation.

We asked questions, shared ideas, and most importantly, reconnected. Meeting and interacting with members from different backgrounds reminded me how important it is to build relationships you never know where your next opportunity may come from.

I left the meeting feeling empowered, inspired, and grateful to be part of such a supportive and purpose-driven community.

👩‍🏫They don’t tell you how demanding teaching practice is… but today, I can proudly say😩I did it.

I’m proud to share that I have successfully completed my teaching practice at Lusaka College of Nursing U.t.h UTH (LUCON) as a student from Levy Mwanawasa Medical University.

This journey was not easy. It was demanding, overwhelming at times, and required discipline, resilience, and consistency. However, it was equally rewarding and transformative.

Through this experience, I gained practical skills in:
• Lesson planning and content delivery
• Classroom management
• Student engagement and communication
• Professional responsibility as an educator
And many more.

I can confidently say that I now understand what it takes to stand before a class not just to teach, but to impact, guide, and inspire.

This experience has strengthened my passion for both healthcare and education. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to grow, learn, and challenge myself beyond my limits.

To everyone who supported me along the way 😊thank you.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and contributing meaningfully to both healthcare and education. I’m open to connecting, learning opportunities, and professional growth. ✨

Proud moment to share my first certificate of 2026 🎓✨
I’ve successfully completed the course “Preventing School-Related Gender-Based Violence (SRGBV)” by UNGEI, UNICEF, and UNESCO.

This training has deeply expanded my understanding of what SRGBV truly is ,not just physical harm, but also emotional abuse, discrimination, silence, fear, unsafe learning spaces, and unequal power dynamics that affect learners every day.

What stood out most for me is this:
Prevention is not just policy ,it’s people.
Teachers, students, families, communities, and institutions all play a role in creating safe, inclusive, and empowering school environments.

As a nursing student, youth advocate, and future health professional, this learning has strengthened my commitment to safeguarding, advocacy, and protection of vulnerable populations especially girls and young people in educational spaces.

This is just the beginning.
Learning. Unlearning. Rebuilding systems. Protecting futures.

This morning, I watched a snail. 🐌

It was moving slowly, quietly, almost unnoticed but it was moving with purpose.
Step by step. Tiny progress. No rush. No noise. Just consistency.

And it hit me:
Even the smallest steps make a difference.

When you’re building something it can be your career, your education, your dreams or your healing you often don’t see the impact immediately. The progress feels slow. Sometimes invisible. Sometimes discouraging.

But growth doesn’t always look dramatic.
Sometimes it looks like:
• showing up when it’s hard
• staying consistent when motivation fades
• choosing discipline over comfort
• continuing even when no one is clapping yet

Progress is progress 🤓no matter the speed.

One day, you’ll look back and realize how far you’ve come, and you’ll be proud of the version of you that refused to stop moving forward.

Slow progress is still progress. Keep going. 🤍
