2. PRIMARY TEACHER

Ø Support learners’ academic, social, and emotional development.

Ø Communicate effectively with parents regarding learners’ progress.

Ø Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development activities.

Ø Diploma or Degree in Primary Education or a related field.

Ø Certification or training in the Oxford Curriculum / International Primary Curriculum is an added advantage.

Ø Valid Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) registration.

Ø Minimum of 2–3 years’ teaching experience in an international or Cambridge/Oxford curriculum setting.

Ø Strong classroom management and assessment skills.

4. SHADOW TEACHER

Ø Support learners with social, emotional, behavioural, and academic development.

Ø Organise and supervise indoor and outdoor sporting activities, games, and athletics.

Ø Identify and nurture learners’ talents in sports and physical activities.

Ø Ensure a safe learning environment by enforcing health, safety, and safeguarding standards.

Ø Assess learners’ physical development and maintain accurate progress records.

Ø Organise inter-house and inter-school sports events and competitions.

Ø Encourage positive behaviour, discipline, and inclusivity during physical activities.

Ø Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.

Ø Administer prescribed medication in accordance with medical guidelines and parental consent.

Ø Maintain accurate medical records and confidential health information.

Ø Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate referrals to healthcare facilities.

Ø Promote hygiene, nutrition, and general health education within the school.

Ø Ensure the school sick bay is clean, safe, and well-equipped.

Ø Advise school management on health and safety policies.

Ø Uphold safeguarding, child protection, and infection prevention standards.

Ø Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding learners’ health concerns.

Qualifications & Experience

Ø Diploma or Degree in Nursing (General Nursing, Registered Nurse, or equivalent).

Ø Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ).

Ø Minimum of 3 years’ experience in nursing (school or paediatric experience is an added advantage).

Ø Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Ø Knowledge of child health, infection control, and emergency response.
