HE STILL STANDS WORTHY
After listening to the President’s recent address, I felt the weight of leadership—real leadership. Not a performance, not a show of strength, but a calm and focused delivery from a man still rooted in responsibility. From where I stand, as a citizen and not a political player, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema still remains exceptional. He still stands worthy to lead.
Zambia is not without its challenges. We all know the cost of fuel, the pressure on the economy, and the growing frustrations in our homes. But I heard a man who doesn’t run from the hard questions. I heard a leader who understands that progress is a process—not an event.
HH continues to carry himself with intentional calm. No noise, no drama. Just steady hands and clear direction. That matters. In a time when many would choose to shift blame or offer cheap promises, he calls us to stay the course. That’s not weakness. That’s leadership.
To my fellow citizens: don’t let the noise distract you. Pay attention to posture, to consistency, to results. There’s a lot to be said for a man who leads with integrity, especially when the pressure is loudest.
I don’t write this as a fan. I write as a Zambian—one who sees the effort, the tone, and the vision. And from where I sit, HH still has the voice, the values, and the discipline we need.
Let’s remain watchful, but let’s also remain hopeful.
