This is a house in that has been slowly collapsing throughout this rainy season. As of today, only the bedroom is still standing. Yet this vulnerable family continues to live inside, with nowhere else to go.

They have repeatedly begged their landlady to repair the house, but all they ever receive is the same empty promise, We’ll come and fix it.

With today’s heavy rains, we can only hope and pray that this family survives this harsh and heartbreaking situation. No one deserves to live in fear of their own home falling on them.

On day one, we had officials from the Agricultural and Commercial Show visit our stand as part of a competition aimed at rewarding the most active organizations bringing real change to the community.
In our introduction, we described ourselves as an organization for the people, by the people of the community.
