Governance and Development Advocates Zambia (GODAZA) has urged stakeholders to rise above partisan interests and support Bill 7 to enable President Hakainde Hichilema to unlock further development for Zambia

GODAZA Executive Director Elias Mulenga stated that Bill 7 is a vital piece of legislation that will advance Zambia’s development agenda under President Hichilema’s leadership

Mulenga highlighted that Zambia is currently undergoing rapid economic growth and recovery, with visible benefits reaching ordinary citizens

The GODAZA Executive Director said this progress reflects the sound policies being implemented by the New Dawn administration

He stressed that backing Bill 7 is essential to unlocking additional funding and driving development across the nation

Mulenga noted that the bill has the potential to accelerate progress, improve infrastructure, and raise the quality of life for all Zambians

He believes that passing Bill 7 will attract greater investment, generate employment, and improve access to vital services such as healthcare and education

Mulenga added that the legislation would boost infrastructure development including roads, energy, and water supply, stimulate economic growth, and help reduce poverty

He called on all citizens, civil society organisations,the Church and government bodies to unite in support of Bill 7 and champion Zambia’s development goals

‎Two ZNS officers die under unclear circumstances while on duty at a ZNS furniture factory in Lusaka West.
‎
‎ Confirming the development to Lusaka Radio news in a statement, ZNS Chief of public relations and liaison officer brigadier general Mable Nyone says Preliminary investigations point to the possibility of foul play.
‎
‎Gen. Nyone says ZNS is collaborating with the Zambia police Service to establish the circumstances that led to the unfortunate incident.
‎
‎He indicated that the service is treating the matter with the utmost seriousness and urgency it deserves.
‎
‎Gen. Nyone has since urged ZNS officers to remain vigilant and be alert while on duty.
