*KABUSWE IS A _GREAT_* *_ASSET_ TO THE PARTY.*
.. *_Assigning him a role_ _in_* *_the Party could_ _add_* *_more impact to_ _the_* *_Structures_ .*
In this morning analysis, we are hereby discussing the *VALUE of* *Chililabombwe MP who* *is also Mines Minister,* *HON. PAUL KABUSWE.* _We do not look at his_ _Ministerial position_ , _but_ _at the_ *_POLITICAL_* *_POTENTIAL_* _which is_ _not fully utilised by_ _the Copperbelt and the_ _Party at large. Before we_ _delve into our main_ _discussion, we would like_ _to indicate that_ _before any Minister was_ _appointed they were_ _already politicians hence_ _it's important to_ _identify their Strengths_ _so as to utilise them for_ _the advantage of the_ _Party._
*OUR VIEW:*
*1* . Hon. Kabuswe is a good politician and a great asset to the Copperbelt and Party at large. Despite not having any position in the Party hierarchy, we have witnessed his sacrifice in funding the Party Structures and in distributing Party materials, among others.
*2* . Hon. Kabuswe is an eloquent and influential Speaker that the Party could utilise in disseminating information to the Public.
*3* . Hon. Kabuswe enjoys spending time with the Structures in Chililabombwe, Copperbelt and the Party at large. The just ended Mwansabombwe By Election is a good example of his sacrifice for the Party, just like his friends, Honorables Akatuntulu, Mubanga and Kapala, among others.
*WAY FORWARD:*
*1* . We appeal to the Copperbelt Management under the able Leadership of Hon. Matambo to consider people like Hon. Kabuswe into strategic Party positions.
*2* . We appeal to Chililabombwe Party Officials to take advantage of Hon. Kabuswe 's willingness to work for the Party by closely working with him.
*3* . We appeal to the entire Party Leadership ( Secretariat and NMC) through President HH and the SG to identify strong and willing individuals to fill in vacancies. We have no doubt that given a responsibility at any level of the Party Structure, Hon. Kabuswe can add a positive impact to the Party.
*The idea by President* *Hichilema to appoint a* *good number of the NMC* *Members into* *Cabinet was progressive.* *However,* *the majority of these* *Ministers are not adding* *a positive impact* *to the Party. It's* *high time that the* *Party considered those* *hard working Ministers,* *ready to* *sacrifice for the Party* *into strategic positions of* *the Party hierarchy.*
Ours is to analyse, advise and recommend for implementation without fear or favour.
