Granddaddy’s Popular Barman Dies Suddenly!
The nightlife community in Lusaka is mourning the sudden death of William, a wellknown and much loved barman at the popular hangout spot, Granddaddy’s.
The cause of his death has not yet been disclosed, but his passing has left a deep void among staff and patrons alike. Known for his warm character and friendly demeanor, William affectionately called “Big Will” was a familiar face behind the bar and a friend to many.
In a heartfelt tribute shared on social media, Granddaddy’s management posted the following message on their official page:
“We are devastated at the sudden loss of one of our own. Not only was Will everyone’s favourite barman, but he was a friend to all of us the team and customers alike. There are no words to express the heartache and loss we feel.
Thank you, William, for everything. Rest in power, Big Will. Until we see you again you will be forever missed.”
In honour of William, Granddaddy’s has announced it will close early at 21:30 today.
