STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 23/05/2026
Good Morning Ba Chimwemwe, allow me to thank you most sincerely for the love and support that you have always rendered to me during my Political Journey in the UPND Party, most importantly the President Hakainde Hichilema and The Vice Mama Mutale Nalumango.
It hasn't been a smooth road, as you may be aware of issues to do with politics, it has a lot of stumbling blocks along the way, a lot of propaganda, a lot of character assassination, a lot of machinations and hostility and if you have a "chicken mind" you may end up quitting in no time but thank God the President and The Vice, UPND Kitwe District Team under the Leadership of Hon Mwango, Mr Chataba, Mr Mainda, Youth wing Hon Katai, Kasaka, Mr Mwiza our able UPND Chimwemwe Constituency Mr Mbeba, The Vice Mr Loloji, Mr Chosa, Mr Mulambo, Mr Sitaluki, Mr Gerald from Youth wing and Madam Pamela Saviye just to mention a few gave me the maximum support from 2023 when I started my ground work mobilization without ceasing.
I treated everyone like my own, I contributed positively to the progress of the Party in the Constituency and at District level respectively.
During the Primary Elections, I came out number 1 and Constituency level and District as the most influential and Popular Candidate in Chimwemwe Constituency including at National level and the online voter process but since Adoptions on The Copperbelt were only awarded to either highest bidders and unpopular candidates were adopted including those female candidates who joined the party recently and got intangled into what I would call "Political In**st" with some senior well known UPND Party officials made it successfully leaving most of us who sacrificed our time, efforts and enormous finances in limbo hence deciding to contest as Independent Members of Parliament in order to protect the Presidential votes because those who got adopted in the case of CHIMWEMWE CONSTITUENCY wouldn't win us an election. If I'm lying, I'm requesting His Excellency to send an independent team to do an assessment and taste the waters. You will prove me right!
Your Excellency and The Vice, i did for the love I have for you, my people and the Party. Politics is a game of numbers and if people get frustrated by imposing candidates that would horribly fail us an Election. Daddy and Mammy I'm still your son and I will give you 100% Presidential votes in Chimwemwe Constituency. My humble and honest appeal is to do a double check on the criteria that was applied for a candidate to be adopted because that's a serious danger, this may cost us an Election Your Excellency if it goes unattended to. You know how fragile Copperbelt is Politically.
Symbol yesu "ni whistle" Generally, a "WHISTLE " symbolizes communication, authority and warning because it's sharp, piecing sound that instantly cuts through distractions, it is deeply tied to grabbing attention, setting boundaries and prompting immediate action. Psychologically, a whistle can trigger the release of endorphins, leading to a boost in mood and overall happiness and Prophetically, a Whistle is a powerful prophetic symbol of God's sovereign authority, his call to gather his scattered people and his ultimate control over all Nations and creation.
