RTSA OPENS NEW SERVICE CENTRE IN CHILILABOMBWE

The Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) has today, 29th June 2026, opened a new service centre in Chililabombwe District aimed at bringing road transport services closer to the people.
Speaking to Konkola Radio News, RTSA Station Manager Mr. Elijah Chalungumana said the centre will provide services such as driver examinations and licensing, driver’s licence renewals, motor vehicle examinations, road service licensing, cross-border permits, vehicle road tax payments, change of ownership and vehicle duplicates.
Mr. Chalungumana added that following RTSA’s transition to a cashless system, all transactions at the station will be done digitally, encouraging members of the public to use mobile money or Visa cards when accessing services.
The Chililabombwe RTSA station is located at Plot Number 4210, along Crossways Road, Town Centre.
Meanwhile, drivers in the district have welcomed the opening of the new service centre, saying it will make accessing RTSA services easier and more convenient. #
