He should resign.
He is not qualified to be National Youth Chairman. He is not educated. How can the President trust him with such a huge responsibility?
These are the comments I see people throw at Liswaniso Gilbert , yet most of them have never sat with him, exchanged ideas with him, or taken time to understand his journey. I have. And because of that, I know a story many people choose to ignore.
Let me take you back.
When the President faced treason charges, Gilbert faced them too. He ran for his life. He suffered. He was hunted. When the President was fighting in the trenches of the opposition, this man was right there, jail after jail, defeat after defeat, threat after threat. He didnโt run away. He didnโt disappear. He didnโt choose comfort.
The people who now say he is not qualified? The so-called โqualifiedโ ones were enjoying peaceful lives at home, posting โWe stand with youโ from the comfort of their sofas.
Those claiming he is not educated? The so-called โeducatedโ ones were too afraid to even be seen near the President. They feared losing opportunities. They feared losing status. But Gilbert Liswaniso stood there, bold, loyal, unwavering.
The ones who boast of experience today? They were nowhere to be found when the fire was real.
Now that the battle has been fought and victory has been won, these same people want the soldiers who bled for the cause to step away from the table so they can sit and enjoy a meal they never helped prepare. They want to replace the people who sacrificed with people who merely watched.
This is the story of our generation. We are too afraid to support our friends when their vision is still small, when their dream is still unpopular, when the outcome is uncertain. But when success arrives, we want to appear as though we were part of the journey.
Here is a truth you must never forget:
The people who are rising are far more powerful than the people who have already risen.
Those who have risen already have teams, teams that believed in them early, teams they will naturally prioritize. But those who are rising? They are still choosing their circle. They are still forming their inner team. You have the opportunity to rise with them right now.
Support your friends. Support their dreams, their businesses, their ideas, even when they are still small, even when itโs unpopular, even when no one else sees it.
Elon Muskโs wealth surged drastically overnight when Donald Trump was heading toward victory. Many celebrities distanced themselves from Trump, but Musk took a risk. He supported a vision most people doubted. And when the tide turned, history rewarded his courage.
Greatness always begins with loyalty to something before it becomes obvious. Stand with people before the world applauds them.
Support the battle before the victory.
And when success comes, you will not just witness it, you will share in it.
