Today, SOTRANE Publishers and Fitabo Distribution Initiative had the privilege of joining the Zambia Correctional Service (ZCS) in celebrating Correctional Service Day at the Lusaka Showgrounds. Under the inspiring theme, "One Service, Many Strengths," the event was graced by the Home Affairs Permanent Secretary, Mr. Dickson Matembo.

Today, 18 September, 2025, SOTRANE Publishers proudly joined The National Service Commander, Lt Gen Eng Maliti Solochi II, for the launch of “Zambia’s Land Army: Unmasking the History of the Zambia National Service.”

Day 4: The Kwimbo National Arts Festival
Our commitment to nurturing the next generation of authors and supporting female creatives was on full display throughout the Festival! We were glad to have our youngest female author, Laika Phiri Author at our stand with her two books feauring. In the photo, she is pictured with the talented Dr. Mulamba Chibesakunda.

A special thanks to all our authors who joined us at the stand throughout the festival. Your presence makes a difference!

Day 2: The Kwimbo National Arts Festival

Longtime friends, seasoned professionals, and now literary artists under SOTRANE Publishers had an unplanned joint outing at the festival.
Mary Silavwe Mulenga, author of Destined and Katongo SM Chifwepa, author of I Remember Vitalicy Chifwepa, graced the event.
They enjoyed various forms of art, celebrating creativity in all its forms.

At Kwimbo National Arts Festival Day One 28th August 2025

Our Monze based author and scholar Ignatius Dedani Ncube came through.

He writes about his second Book;

The Kwimbo National Arts Festival opened yesterday.
In video Hon. Elvis Nkandu, MP Minister responsible for Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts with PSs and staff, Director National Arts Council of Zambia and various corporates and diplomats visited Sotrane Publishers and other literary sector stakeholders exhibiting and selling Books.

The Publisher Dr Sydney Muponda spoke about value of storytelling.
The Minister encouraged creatives to keep selling the country and valuing Art.
