MIBT Launches Copperbelt Tech Innovation Seminar 2025 – A Landmark Event Linking Industry, Startups & Digital Transformation

Kitwe, Zambia — The Motley Institute of Business & Technology (MIBT) is proud to announce the Copperbelt Tech Innovation Seminar 2025, scheduled for August 28th at Garden Court Hotel in Kitwe, with a supporting Virtual Innovation Week running from August 19th to 26th.

The program will kick off with a five-day Virtual Bootcamp (August 19–23), followed by a two-day Hackathon (August 24–25), and conclude with a high-impact Virtual Awareness Seminar on August 26th. These events will promote developer collaboration, public engagement, and multi-sectoral dialogue across fintech, e-commerce, blockchain, AI, smart agriculture, education, and digital trade — all leading up to the in-person seminar on August 28.

Under the theme “Unlocking Innovation for Industrial and Digital Growth,” this hybrid event will convene over 150 on-site participants and hundreds more virtually — including tech innovators, developers, , students, industry leaders, investors, policymakers, youth and women entrepreneurs, and academics — to reimagine the Copperbelt as a launchpad for Zambia’s digital economy and industrial renaissance.
