My Father Denied Me, He Said I Had a Big Head-James Sakala

When people tie the knot and say, “I do,” most dream of building a family together and raising beautiful children. Very few ever imagine that their marriage could end in divorce.
Children are often described as a blessing from God and they deserve to be loved, protected and cared for as the Bible teaches. But what happens when doubts about paternity arise while a child is still in the womb?
That was the challenge James Sakala’s parents faced before he was born.
On the Kenny T 1 on 1 Podcast, James revealed that while his mother was pregnant with him, his father suspected that she had been unfaithful. Before James was even born, his father had already denied him.
After his birth, his father came to the hospital. Upon seeing him, James says his father immediately declared, “This is not my child, he has a big head and I don’t have a big head.” Shortly after, his father divorced his mother.
Years later, however, James says that when he looks at his father’s old pictures, he sees a striking resemblance between them.
