MORE TEACHERS FLOCK TO TIMES

ANXIOUS teachers are still flocking to Times of Zambia offices in Lusaka for more copies of the paper to check their names.

The copies that were released by mid-day were being resold at K50 per copy by some vendors and immediately sold out.

The teachers who started arriving at the Times offices on Freedom Way as early as 05:00 hours are increasing in numbers as the day progresses and the copies that were released were sold out within minutes.

About five police officers stationed at the premises are having a tough
time to control the crowd and one vendor who attempted to go on street to sell his copies lost out as the teachers grabbed them without paying for them.
More copies are, however, expected on the market.

Erratic fuel supply due to transport issues – OMCs
By KETRA KALUNGA -
THE Oil Marketing Companies Association of Zambia (OMCAZ) has attributed the current erratic supply of petroleum products especially petrol to transporting challenges of the product that comes via road.
OMCAZ president Kafula Mubanga said contrary to some media reports that the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) were hoarding the petroleum products in anticipation of price hike, the product was not withheld by any OMC but only faced transportation challenges.
